The 21st meeting of authorities of the Ibero-American Institute of Securities Markets (IIMV), chaired by the National Securities Commission of Paraguay (CNV), was held on 9 October in Asunción (Paraguay). The lines of action of the IIMV Foundation for 2020 were explained at the meeting, and the Superintendency of Financial Services of the Central Bank of Uruguay took over the presidency for the next two years.

On the following day, the “Securities Market: National and international experiences” seminar was held at the auditorium of the Central Bank of Paraguay. The main speech of the seminar was delivered by Sebastián Albella, who analysed the importance and the situation of organised stock markets.
