The website of the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) has a new section called: “After Brexit: issues relating to the financial sector”, which includes useful information on this matter.

After the UK’s decision to leave the European Union, the CNMV has been working, in coordination with other national and European bodies, in view of the possibility of a no-deal Brexit, with the aim of preserving financial stability, protecting investors and promoting the competitiveness of the Spanish market.
The section includes a list of documents of interest on the potential impact and consequences of Brexit and some interpretative criteria, in the form of Q&As, on provisions related to the securities market and investment services.
