The CNMV has been awarded a prize at the Twelfth Edition of the “Aptíssimi” Prizes, organised by ESADE Alumni, for its contribution to the legal sector. On 3 October, the Vice-Chairwoman of the CNMV, Ana Martínez-Pina, collected the award at an event held at the Maritime Museum of Barcelona. In her speech, she highlighted the leading role of the supervisory body in the development of national and European rules, and their correct implementation through various supervisory tasks:

“We are fully convinced that a developed, liquid, secure and deep equities market makes countries and their companies more competitive. This requires appropriate regulations and efficient supervision”, she said.

“The CNMV is highly committed to obtaining a clear regulatory framework, which is adapted to the reality of the market and harmonised at European Level”, she added.

The Club, “Derecho ESADE Alumni”, decided to award the prize to the CNMV for “its contribution to the sector”.
