On 6 April, Francisco José del Olmo, Deputy Director of the CNMV’s FinTech and Cybersecurity Department, gave a lecture on crypto-assets at the Deusto Business School Icaza Auditorium.

At the conference, organised by the Deusto Investment Club and the CNMV, numerous sector-related issues were addressed, highlighting the importance of assessing and understanding in what products you are investing. 

More than 150 students from various schools of the Deusto University also participated. 

The CNMV intends to promote the implementation of the financial education programme in the Basque Country in 2022, by promoting contacts with the Basque Government and universities, together with the Bank of Spain.
