On 14 February 2024 we welcomed 50 vocational training students to the CNMV, from two educational centres in Madrid:  IES La Arboleda and Centro Educativo María Inmaculada.

Volunteers of the CNMV gave different sessions in which the alumni learned what the CNMV is, its functions, what the securities markets are, on their operation and the main characteristics of the different investment products.

The main mechanisms to avoid financial scams and fraud were also addressed. Financial education information material was used:

This initiative is part of the CNMV’s project to make the public aware of the services it offers and to encourage financial education so as to reinforce investor protection.
