On 12 June, the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) welcomed a group of young teachers and students as part of the Young Teaching Talent Week organised by the Fundación Princesa de Girona.
The event held at the CNMV’s headquarters provided participants with an insight into the importance of financial literacy as an essential part of young people’s education.
During the session, students in Years 3 and 4 of compulsory secondary school (ESO) and teachers from across Spain presented high-impact projects framed within the Worldshakers initiative, linked to the Sustainable Development Goals. Through these projects, the participants demonstrated their creativity, commitment, and ability to conceive solutions to some of today’s major challenges by applying entrepreneurship, critical thinking and financial education tools.
The CNMV’s participation in this initiative strengthens our dedication to financial education and supporting teachers and young people in developing vital skills for the future.
