On 5, 6 and 7 April, the “4º ESO+empresa” programme was conducted at the CNMV’s headquarters, in which eleven students from various educational institutions participated. This programme, which is the third edition in which the CNMV participates, is intended to bring students into contact with the labour market by means of work placements in companies and institutions aimed at offering an overview of the activities in which these are engaged, and ultimately, helping them to take decisions on their academic and professional future.

Various volunteers from the CNMV V volunteering programme collaborated in the development of this initiative. They gave various lectures on how they carry out their daily work and explained numerous concepts relating to the functioning of the securities markets and the CNMV’s organisation. Upon completion of the programme, the students were very satisfied because they had become familiar with these concepts and had gained a better understanding of financial markets.
