With the theme of “Think before you follow, wise money tomorrow”, the 12th edition of Global Money Week kicks-off. Between 17 and 23 March, the OECD and Spanish supervisors, such as the CNMV, develop a campaign on financial education aimed specifically to young people. This time round, the focus is on digital finance and how younger audiences interact with online financial services.

The CNMV’s Vice-Chair, Paloma Marín, explains this further in a video:

Organised by the OECD’s International Network for Financial Education (OECD/INFE), Global Money Week is developed in Spain through the Financial Education Plan. Coordinated this year by the CNMV, along with the Bank of Spain and the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Affairs, a variety of informative, educational and promotional activities, also promoted by said Plan’s collaborators, are organised throughout the coming days.
