On 17 February, the European Commission launched an especially relevant public consultation process within the context of the work relating to the review of MiFID II/ MiFIR. The deadline for submitting comments is 20 April.

We at the CNMV would like to encourage all stakeholders to participate in this public consultation. It is important that the position of the sector and other Spanish stakeholders be duly taken into account in the review process.

Likewise, and in order to seek the sector’s views for the purposes of current institutional reflection, the CNMV would appreciate it if stakeholders could send a copy of their comments on the consultation paper to the following email address: normativa@cnmv.es.

In addition, the CNMV welcomes any feedback of interest related to the review of the aforementioned European provisions other than the consultation process launched by the European Commission.
